On 10 October 2009 I left Lord's Cricket Ground in London on my bicycle, accompanied by 17 friends. When we reached England's south coast they all turned around and went home. I jumped on a ferry to France and later that evening began cycling across Europe. Since that weekend I have pedaled through 23 countries, have had a hit of cricket in all but 3 of them (and including Serbia, Turkey, Sudan and Malaysia), and have so far managed to persuade kind donors to raise over $50,000 US for my chosen charities, the British Neurological Research Trust and the Lord's Taverners.
I thank everyone, from sponsors Betfair and Mongoose Cricket back home to virtual strangers along the way for making my journey....well...pretty good. My goal was Brisbane. I will pedal into The Gabba (venue for the 1st Ashes Test Match of the 2010/11 series) on 24th November around lunchtime (exact time TBC shortly). My parents and a few friends will be there (I hope!) to welcome me in, and if you have been following my trip and fancy popping along then please let me know beforehand and I hope arrangements can be made. If you can't make it then I hope to catch you at one of the Tests - I'll be at all except Adelaide.

Thanks, and keep your fingers crossed for the England cricket team in Australia this winter - it should be a ripper!
