Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has said he knows the team will win points from Manchester United.
“Rampant Hornet” opened the nest, attacked the “Red Devils”, demolished 4-1. Causing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be fired from his position after the team’s poor performance continued.
United’s defeat in the game didn’t turn up expectations considering the recent performances. With Foster saying he already knew the team would have a point.
“I really can’t speak personally to them,” Foster said when asked about his good time at United. “I can talk about what they hear from the media. from what you just said For example, that seems consistent.”
“I’m not really sure about that when you have players with the quality. That Manchester United have, you’re never too far away from that, they just click and then they fire up again.”
“For me there are a few teams in this league where you are very concerned. But the other 17, 18 teams, to be honest, I think we can get points from them which includes Manchester United.”
The manner of United’s pathetic performance was even worse than recent beatings by Liverpool and Man City with relegation-threatened Watford enjoying a field day against their opponents.
United’s loss was hardly even a surprise after a poor start to the season and speaking ahead of the match Watford goalkeeper Foster summed up the misery by insisting his side were confident of getting a win this weekend.
